Advanced inverter-driven modulation technology has redesigned its LX Series heat pumps. These redesigned units improve efficiency and operate at a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of up to 16.
While traditional single- or two-stage systems operate in the hysteresis band, the new inverter-based design generates only enough capacity to maintain ambient conditions, eliminating temperature fluctuations while reducing energy consumption.
York's split heat pumps offer reliable performance and have been developed through 250,000 hours of research, accelerated field trials and extreme weather testing. These units feature powerful compressors, defrost features for cold weather, powder coating and durable extruded louvered coil guards. Direct-drive fans minimize vibration and sound levels, while Advanced MicroChannel coils reduce footprint while optimizing airflow and heat transfer rates.
